My name is Jan Schneider and I am running for
State Representative in 41B.
I am running not because of one or two issues or because
holding office has been a life-long dream.  I am running
because we need more representatives whose instincts
are to reform government, not simply increase it.  From
education, to transportation, to health care and our state
economy, we cannot continue using old solutions and
expect to get new results.

For nearly 25 years, I have brought a principled,
reform-minded outlook to business and civic service. As a
business consultant, I have worked with Fortune 500
companies and start-ups alike, improving planning,
organizational effectiveness and customer service.

As the former Chair of the Bloomington Planning
Commission, I have balanced the interests of business and
residents while working with people of differing views.

I look forward to meeting and discussing the issues over
the next few months.
