Transportation
Our funding priorities should reflect the fact that most
Minnesotans travel and businesses move goods and
services using our roads and bridges .
Where multi-modal forms of transportation are possible, we
should conduct a thorough cost benefit analysis to identify
the most appropriate mode as well as ensure that we are
getting the return on our investment.
We should consider incentives versus sanctions to improve
productivity of contractors.
Business should be conducted within MNDOT through
implementation of the best practice approach for bidding,
design, building, and maintaining of all modes of
transportation.
