We need Schneider
To the editor:
I am excited to have Jan Schneider as a candidate for state representative in 41B. Our
district and our state needs more political leaders willing to reform government and look out
for the best interests of taxpayers instead of simply spending more of our money. Why do I
know Jan can do these things? Because they are exactly what she's been doing in business
and in local government.
Jan has worked for nearly 25 years as a business consultant for Fortune 500 companies and
small businesses, promoting improved efficiency and effectiveness. Jan brought that same
attitude to her civic service. Elected as chair of the Bloomington Planning Commission by
peers with various ideological backgrounds, Jan successfully balanced the interests of
businesses, residents, and her fellow commission members.
We need more politicians who can stick to their personal principles and won't compromise
them for the sake of political expediency. Jan has been steadfast in her principles of being
pro-fiscally responsible, pro-family, and pro-taxpayer while still working with others of differing
views. She has truly shown that standing on principle doesn't mean standing in the way of
getting the right things done.
Please join me in supporting a candidate who can bring change and results to St. Paul - Jan
Schneider.
